Finally!

Asher got into medical school! (Yeah, he was surprised.)

For those of you who don't know, we applied last year

to about 7 schools, and after 4 interviews, ultimately

got rejected by them all.

This year, Asher went to two interviews and received

acceptances from them both. The schools were our

top choices, so we were happy to be able to cancel

the other interviews and save a lot of money.

So, we'll be moving to North Chicago sometime next

summer where Asher will be attending Rosalind Franklin

University. At least that's the plan.

Для тех из вас, кто не знал, мы подавали заявление в

7 университетов в прошлом году и после листа ожидания

мы получили отказы. В этом году Ашера приняли в

2 университета. Так что, этим летом мы будем переезжать в

Чикаго, где Ашер будет учиться в унверситете

Розалинд Франклин. По крайней мере, это то, что мы планируем.

Pavil - 7 months

Pavil can stand up now, sit on his own, and

crawl! He began doing these things when he was

a little over 6 months. This would be great if

it didn't interfere with his sleep! He would

stand for hours in his crib being proud of his

acquired skill.

и ползать. Он начал показывать эти способности,

когда ему было 6 месяцев. Я бы радовалась этим

его способностям, если бы они не мешали ему

спать! :) Он может стоять в кроватке часами и

гордиться своими успехами. :)

Pavil - 6 months

No, that's not Pavil. This is our newest addition

to the family. I called her Simona. Asher calls

her 'stupid cat'.

Pavil recently started doing his first pushups.

Asher says it good, because we are never going

to beat the Chinese in olympic weightlifting if we

don't start training at a younger age.
